Ability Pool & Glossary
Bioluminescence The possession of naturally glowing portions of their body. All these bioluminescent parts itch and burn under strong light. Breath Weapon (Fire) The ability to breathe out a gout of fire. Death Magic The ability to wield magic related to killing and raising creatures. Extended Lifespan Though still vulnerable to injury and illness, this dragon is descended from a true immortal and has the potential to live for millennia before showing any signs of aging. Filter Radioactivity The ability to magically leech radioactivity from an area and allow it to return to an innate state. Heat Aura The ability to create an aura of extreme heat around one's body. Illusion Magic The ability to use strands of magic spun from their back-fronds to create sensory illusions. Fronds that are not already bioluminescent will glow for the duration of the magic-spinning. Narcotic Magic The ability to ingest strands of magic spun from their back-fronds, causing euphoria, hallucinations, and dulling pain. It has a much stronger effect on creatures other than themselves. Abuse of the narcotic can be fatal. Fronds that are not already bioluminescent will glow for the duration of the magic-spinning. Paralysis Toxin The possession of venom that causes total paralysis and excruciating pain. Physical Magic The ability to use strands of magic spun from their back-fronds to create physical objects. Fronds that are not already bioluminescent will glow for the duration of the magic-spinning. Prophetic Dreams The uncontrolled ability to, when dreaming, sometimes see events, images, or other symbols that predict the future. Psionics The ability to use mental-based powers such as telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation. Shadow Magic The ability to wield magic related to creating and controlling shadows. Shadow-Walking The ability to use shadows to teleport from one place to another as if the shadows were physically connected. Shapeshifting (Dragon-Human Spectrum) The ability to shapeshift to any form between human and dragon shapes, the former tending to retain the coloration of the latter. Underwater Breathing The ability to breathe underwater. Venomous Bite The possession of a venomous bite. Venomous Stinger (Tail) The possession of a venomous stinger at the end of their tail. Venomous Stingers (Wrists) The possession of a pair of venomous stingers that extend from the wrists.
