Name:Dorian Northolt
Age:19
Sex:Male
Species:Human
Height:5'11"
Residence:Nidus Caeligenus
Occupation:
Description:Tall, slender, and athletic, Dorian is the kind of guy that on more than one occasion had a pack of girls giggling over him in the hallway as he walks by. He has a striking narrow face and pointed jaw, with a mouth that's frequently grinning and icy blue eyes that are no stranger to sly, enticing looks. His hair is short, dyed in haphazard streaks of red, orange, and yellow, but despite this punkish hairstyle, Dorian dresses very respectably, commonly 'business casual'. Khakis and dress slacks, sports jackets and collared shirts, buffed and polished leather shoes... Dorian's appearance is always thought-out and well put together.
Personality:Dorian is a playful tease and a fan of witty repartee. He's sharp-minded and a quick thinker, full of ideas and the guts it takes to act on them. He sometimes comes across as the kind of person you would consider shallow, but in truth he is deeply empathic and loyal to his friends. He has a sharp eye for emotions and has always been the first to note any kind of inner turmoil going on in his friends. Though he can be loud and exuberant, and a goad upon his friends to do one thing or another, he also knows how to turn a friend aside into a private corner and gently ask them if there's something going on that they want to talk about. Though some people would dub Dorian the leader of his group of friends, if anything, he is the mediator and counselor, a pillar of support rather than the true guiding force.

The loss of their home and 'exile' into space aboard the Destiny has shaken him, leaving smudges and stains upon what was once a font of unshakable optimism. He has not lost it entirely, thankfully, but it has given him a heavy dose of reality to temper some of his more boisterous moods.

Biography:Dorian and his friends (Araaye, Iaveran, Regan, Sel) were all born and raised on the space station called Star City, where common circumstances and shared interests bonded them all into a tight, if eclectic, group. Although for a fairly ridiculous reason (moral support for Regan bonding a plant-dragon when her parents told her the only living thing she could bring into the house was a plant), they unanimously decided to stand for dragon-bonding at different places across the Nexus and proceeded to do so. Four of them succeeded before calamity: the infestation of Star City by vast numbers of xenodragons.

They, like many other inhabitants of the City, were evacuated, and it was simple happenstance that they were among the many taken aboard by the Abstract Destiny when it worked in concert with native craft to help save as many as possible. Some families had further places to escape to, other planets or stations where safety could be found, but others were less fortunate and left homeless among the vastness of space. Thankfully, the Destiny had no intentions of forcing out anyone with no place to go, and so they remain aboard the ship as they explore their options -- including the discussions that Doctor Schroeder wishes to see to the founding of a Nidus for them all.
