Insubstantial Form

Although they appear solid, shadowlings have little true mass. Like a thick cloud of smoke or fog, they can barely be touched. They can also move through water, over land, and through the air with ease.

Telekinesis

The ability to move and manipulate objects with the mind.

Telepathy

The ability to communicate mind-to-mind.

Teleportation

The ability to teleport anywhere within sight or that can be strongly visualized in the mind.

Paenos is, in a peculiar way, quite the gentleman. He is soft-spoken and polite, sometimes weaving words together in a way one would expect to hear from a poet, rather than a chaos-bent Shadowling. This courteous air, however, extends only to the ladies of Paenos's life: of course his beloved bondmate Charybdis most of all. His affection to the latter monster at times seems to transcend that of the "mere" affection for a dragon to his bond. Though his adoration is a one-way street as Charybdis is incapable of love, this does not seem to bother him. Perhaps because she cannot love anything, possessing her as a bond -- as no other creature can -- is enough.
