The ability to fly between the many dimensions of the Nexus with ease.

Insubstantial Form

Although they appear solid, shadowlings have little true mass. Like a thick cloud of smoke or fog, they can barely be touched. They can also move through water, over land, and through the air with ease.

Invisibility

The ability to render oneself unable to be seen.

Lightning Gaze

The ability to fire bolts of lightning from their eyes.

Spellcaster

The potential to learn and cast magical spells.

Telepathy

The ability to communicate mind-to-mind.

Daerona is all confidence and no pride, if such a thing can be believed. As a Queen, she is confident in her strength, her size, and her raw power, but does not possess that emotion it takes to be arrogant of such things. She can be read as conceited, certainly, since she also lacks humility, but the truth remains that she is not. She enjoys the sea-going pack she is a part of, and despite her Queenly rank, considers them all her equals. She cannot be superior to her bonded, Scylla; Scylla utterly considers Charybdis her equal; and Paenos has to be equal to his bonded as well. As a pack of four equals who each have strengths to back up another's weaknesses, they operate just as smoothly as the two sea monsters did before their Shadows joined him, and perhaps even more so. Their efficiency seems to have quadrupled rather than merely doubled, and cannot help but inspire fear wherever they go.

Understandably, this has changed since their pod has grown throughout their roamings of the Nexus, and podmates outside of the original four are more unto subjects in Daerona's eyes. They owe her allegiance and respect, but she is responsible for them in turn.
