A wide-ranging ability to wield magic to just about any practical purpose. Though innate, practice is necessary to become truly skilled.

Focus

The ability to speed up her body, mind, and perception of time so that she can do more in a moment than is otherwise physically possible. To her, the world appears slowed. To others, the world is normal but she moves incredibly fast.

Seedling Reproduction

Every few years, the dragon's gemlike scales bloom into flowery structures. If they contract the pollen of another seedling-capable dragon, they could very well become "pregnant", regardless of the dragon's actual gender.

Shapeshifting (Human)

The ability to shapeshift into a human form that retains the coloration of their natural shape.

Psionics

The ability to use mental-based powers such as telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation. All asandae have latent psionics but not all practice the skills. Mages tend to cultivate their psionics as they help with more complex manipulations of functional magic.

Verbal Speech

The ability to communicate in spoken words.

Water Magic

The ability to wield magic related to creating and controlling water. Bali can only manipulate amounts of about a gallon or less.

Ozionali is a tangled braid of boldness and vulnerability, her personality stitched together from her mother's cunning confidence and her father's anxious tenderness. She walks through the world with a glimmer of Ontaziona's sharp wit and talent speaking just the right words to open doors -- or get others to open them for her. Ozionali enjoys the thrill of improvisation and the power that comes with subtle influence, but she's not nearly as smooth as she thinks she is. While she tries to channel her mother's breezy bravado, it sometimes comes off forced or awkward, like she's wearing a mask a size too large and hoping no one notices it slipping.

That's because under the act, Ozionali harbors the same fretful self-doubt her father knows so well. She second-guesses herself more often than she'd ever admit, and when things don't go to plan, her confidence can unravel fast. She's prone to guilt in quiet moments, especially when her opportunistic streak leaves someone hurt -- though she rarely owns up to it out loud. Still, when she lets her guard down, there's a quiet earnestness in her. She wants to be good, even if she's not quite sure how to be, and she's surprisingly affectionate toward those who see through her veneer without calling her out. Ozionali is learning, fumbling, failing, and trying again -- a little too clever for her own good, a little too soft to say so.
