Okay, I sent Emger, Selin and Alynn to you. Sorry for the extra blank one. I have no clue how that happened! Anyway, Alynn I would like to have wings but Emger dosn't have to. oog. irc. I can't figure it out, honestly... Plus, my hands are literally numb from the last 3 days of typing I've been doing...

I put the 800x600's on photobucket, since the elves images are hardly more than a few k each. it was those big ones that really sucked down the bandwidth. they're not large enough to be shrunk by photobucket, so they look okay.

Anyone's absolutely free to rp with em, I don't mind. I'm still working on the other dragons and I'll probably put them up with their stats eventually. You can make whatever you'd like with these guys, web pages or whatnot. Now that I've set the stage and (I hope) given enough info about the world and its workings, it won't be so mysterious.

The 'bad guys' will probably be sprung on you sometime. heh. They live in the Red Wall Canyon, in parts not so far as you'd think. Still far enough that they won't be running into you lot all the time, but enough that they can tromp through the desert (or fly, which is likely) once in a while and make trouble. Just so you can send em back in shame... Since you outnumber them about 10 to 1....

Heh, I'd be up for mIRC, yes... And they could be posted publically, and run with a forum thread at the same time so that it would not limit people unable to utilize mIRC - or people on time constraints.

Maybe some public forums or something would work well...? I'd like to get my char to interact with some folks who I don't normally RP with--along with those that I do! XD Oooh, I even have an idea for a bit of RP! Maybe once everyone begins to get settled in, everyone can wander back to that 'entrance' valley where the story left off, and folks can start off a bit of celebration?

:\ Also, trying to type with a tenser band on is tough stuff! XD I think I may go rest my hand for a bit.

Oh I've got wrist gloves, but I also use frozen towels to keep the swelling down. It really seems to help...

Well the reason I suggested mIRC is because our forum threads have a tendancy of dying. I like instant messaging and quick posts because it's easier to get in character and stay in character.

If not mIRC then maybe Yahoo? Or is there anyone here who knows how to work the Java script required for a chat room?

I'm all for the thread idea, but I would like some place where we don't have to spend eons writing out one post also.

Logged IRC is a good idea, I think- although for you people running on Windows, it poses a security risk. For casual RP where you don't need to remember what you did, I think I remember enough of the code to set up a java chat. Want me to try?

:3 I'm happy with Xalia's chat board, though that can be a bit difficult since it goes 'backwards' from most chat board things. Could we try that (or something like it) first, and if it doesn't work out, you guys can meander over to mIRC? I'd really like to do a wee bit of RP (tonight? Anyone have free time tonight? :D), and I agree that message-boards tend to die out (quickly or slowly, it doesn't seem to matter!)

Like everyone's been saying, we can log things--and then store those logs on the forum! If anyone wants to do more 'private' RP's they can always do so on their free time, using whichever communication proggie they're comfortable with, right?

I'm only harping about mIRC (and Yahoo chat) because I can't use either of them. >_< My new connection has some super Firewall stuff going on, and I don't know how to get around it. XP Other then that.... wheeee, who's up for some Ahrrr Peeeeee~?

Okie... well... if Shard doesn't mind(?), how about we set something up tonight for around 6:30 or 7PM? (That'd be 8:30 to 9 on the east coast, 5:30 to 6 on the pacific), just an open thread that anyone can hop into at any time? And... if anyone misses it, perhaps a forum thread that people can post on at their leisure, with later orchestrated RP dates on demand? XD

Oh man, it'd be awesome if it turned out like some... you just wander in at any time of the day and there's someone else hanging around to RP with for an hour or two. X333 Those are fun. In any case... yar! That just gives me time to make supper, eat, and clean up the dishes. Dunno, if anyone else would prefer it starts later or sooner, they can feel free to throw their two cents in! :3

lol baguette dragon. It's Rachael that has hers in her logo, and I'll be eventually getting everyone's dragons out. Not run so much as a hatching as ... a 'getting'.

And yeah, I douse a towel in some water, wring it out, and then put it in the freezer for a while. I put it in a plastic bag so it doesn't freeze my skin and then as it thaws you can mold it around your hands and wrists. It does make typing a little hard, but if you use it off the keyboard it's nice. Feels really good actually. I should do that now.
