When you move between Earth and the Otherforest 'you' become a small sized and magically powerful elf. Perhaps an idealized version of you as you are, or sometimes dramatically different. Each elf then must find out things about their condiditon: they're telepathic, they have long ears and 3 fingered hands, they're naked on arrival, and they feel the desperate need to move to a permanent location on the map - usually far away from their arrival point. (this is to prevent overcrowding, and to allow me to put people in locations they like, instead of forcing them to reside in a part of the world they wouldn't.)
