Zella's life has been in the shadow of her father, happily enough for her since he is a constant in her life. She followed him to Nidus Silva as a youth, lived nearby with his help in raising her new bond and half-sibling, Charmaen, and has travelled all the way to Castle Timara on Planet Icarus when her father heeded the call of drak and drak-spawn to help defend Timara's lands. Being quite obviously not-a-drak has not stopped her from flitting about the Castle, though she has been told many times to keep a low profile.

Charmaen hopes to find one or two dragonesses to mate with, as the idea of brooding over an entire pile of dragonets appeals to him immensely. Having spent enough time with his sister -- and occasionally visiting his birth-home, Charmaen has absorbed enough Saa'Shiyovi culture to flirt with pretty dragonesses by attempting to fly circles around them or cajole them into doing likewise. He has had one or two rejections based solely on the misunderstanding of a friendly flight, but Charmaen is the kind to rally. His ability to speak with utterly innocent honesty is usually enough to smooth any ruffled feathers.
