- A Story on a Page
This story can be long and detailed or short and to the point. A detailed stats page is also an option. Your character's personality helps to determine what kind of drak they receive.
- The Aspirant
Mind pairs can happen to anyone present at the hatching. The character should be at least 15 years of age (human), or the equivalent of having mostly gone through puberty.
- General Warnings
Please mark any trigger warnings at the start of your story for topics that could be difficult for some readers. Violence, sex, substance abuse and death are common triggers.
- The Mind Pairing
Male and Female Draks can pair with any gender. The bond is relatively weak, so they mostly know what the other is feeling, but cannot read thoughts. Draks learn language very easily, so they'll speak to your aspirant. Some Draks may pair off together, forming a drak-drak pair, but this doesn't happen often. If you have any preference regarding the gender of your drak-to-be, please let me know and it will be taken into account.
- Names
The naming system on Icarus is quite complex and thus it is usually the mother who names her kids. However, if you know the system and have a name you absolutely want to have used, you can suggest it.

- Update Notices
Updates will be posted in the Nexus Group Discord. Please keep track of the #site-announcements channel for updates.
- Images
Save images to your own hard drive and upload them to your aspirant's page.
You may alter these images by rotating, flipping and resizing them, but do not recolour them, and do not claim them as your own art.
- For the Genealogy and Records
Please reach out to @Trix on the Nexus Group Discord if you move your draks and when your drak has found a life mate for the sake of keeping records up-to-date.
@Trix would also like to keep track of any clutches that occur outside of Icarus.
