Abilities:
| Verbal Speech: This dragon can speak aloud.
|

Fire Breath: This dragon can breath a gout of fire.
|
Shapeshifting: This dragon can shapeshift into a human, much like other shapeshifters from the White Wolf Universe:
Drako: Farwanderer's full dragon form. The largest of the five, she is the most powerful in this form but has difficulty doing precision work with her short claws.
Narblo: In this form Farwanderer looks like a small dragon, about half her Drako-shaped size. She can walk upright if need be but will normally walk on all fours. Her four-and-a-half fingered paws are prehensile enough for basic manipulation, and her smaller size makes her less intimidating when around those not acclimitized to dragons.
Shinalo: A monstrous sort of half-human, half-dragon form, Farwanderer stands about 9' tall in this form and looks like a bipedal dragon. She has a dragon's head, small wings and a tail in this form, and is capable of breathing fire but is not capable of full flight.
Tranzi: A mostly-human form that could only really pass in a heavily shadowed area, Farwanderer's olive human-skin takes on blue tones of her Seascale clan, and the spines of her dragon form protrude just a little from an otherwise human body. This form is slightly more in tune with her magical abilities than a 100% humanoid one, which makes it one of Farwanderer's backup forms if she is integrated into a human society.
Hominid: Farwanderer's fully human form stands about 5'3" tall, with dark olive skin and thick, mahogany-brown hair down to her waist that is almost always kept in a tight braid. Her human form engenders a response more towards handsome than pretty, with her thick brows and oval jaw, though her violet eyes are quite striking. She tends to wear a jumpsuit that can absorb a lot of damage, running in human circles where such clothing is appropriate.
|
Magical Regeneration: This counts as both healing personal physical wounds as well as regenerating magic (sometimes going by other names) in an area. If another creature who calls on inherent magical energy in order to use its own abilities happens to be near Farwanderer, her ability to regenerate the stuff means that they'll have an easier time of it. She brings balance to areas that are depleted of magic, though has a harder time with areas already strong in corrupted magical forces. In her own people's terms, this goes by the term "gnosis".
|
Realm Travel: Farwanderer has instant and immediate access to the veil between physical worlds and the metaphysical or spiritual realms beyond.
The physical realm to the metaphysical also possess certain layers: The real, solid physical world that most creatures inhabit in the Nexus is the first, the Near is the realm just beyond each world or conduit of observation-affectation (any area that creatures have altered by observing and making choices within) and this realm is the one that most other dragon species teleport between. The Deep lays further out and is little charted, while the Shadows are a familiar realm for Dyrmyst dragons. The Endless is the furthest realm in terms of effort to travel; Farwanderer occasionally travels to the Shadows but very rarely beyond.
|
Domain Creation: This particular ability is one that Farwanderer has used only once; within the Shadow Realm she (like many other Dalake) has created a pocket realm in which to heal, and which connects her favourite physical haunts. It is especially easy for her to step sideways into her domain, as she can sense it easily in most places. Only those areas that are heavily corrupted by chaotic energy make a clean getaway difficult for her.
|
Enhanced Seascale Abilities: Being a pureblood Seascale Dyrmyst dragon, Farwanderer's water and especially ocean-based abilities exceed any part-breed kin. Any magic regeneration that she provides inevitably has the flavour of water elementalism; fire magic will not benefit from her presence in the way that ocean magic would, or spells cast on the ocean would be enhanced, versus in a very dry place.
|
Language Translation: Farwanderer can pick up new languages with supernatural speed. This ability is more than just personal; her presence allows those around her to understand one another more easily as well.
|
Create Water: Farwanderer can create water as though from nothing, transmuting that magic which her presence creates into solid matter.
|
Become Water: Farwanderer can dissolve into water but is then mostly restricted to water's behaviour; she can exert magical power to move uphill, exchange energy to become solid or air-bound, but if left without such force, she would pool, freeze, or evaporate as water normally does. When forming back into her own body, she does not have to possess all of the same molecules, merely be within a body of water large enough to transmute a human or larger form.
|
Summon Small Sea Creatures: This ability is one that Farwanderer usually calls on for information: scouts, eyes in the ocean, or merely for company. Any creatures that live largely at sea can hear her call. Farwanderer is especially fond of sea birds, but tends to have a fascination for all ocean creatures. |
Personality:
| Farwanderer is, as he name suggests, an addicted traveler. In her youth she strayed far from her homelands, usually to those worlds that possessed a lot of water and a lot of humans, which she finds fascinating. She knows better now not to reveal her dragon form when not in the company of other dragons, but her urge to learn more about other cultures has led both to some extremely satisfying leaps of understanding as well as some extremely embarrassing or even dangerous faux pas.
In her early adult days, she had gotten into trouble with a syndicate of humanoid worlds that weren't accustomed to draconic presence, but being a tough dragon, she managed to evade capture or worse. When an opposing organization took her in and realized her potential, Farwanderer was urged into a contract to work as a courier in exchange for her protection and (eventually) clearing her name. Farwanderer accepted: it allowed her to continue exploring new worlds and provided her with a relatively large paycheck. Her place of employ also never realized that she as anything more than a particularly talented human.
While working with her employers she was urged also to find a dragon bond, as most other couriers had the same as backup, as transportation, as loyal companionship. Finding this to be a delightfully ironic situation, Farwanderer eventually found herself bonding to Charilaen. Though a dragon herself, Farwanderer was unaccustomed to another dragon's presence. It took quite a bit of getting used to! Charilaen immediately understood her true form, that she was hiding it, and that she preferred not to be outed, but he had a lot of questions in his youth about why she preferred to live as a human, why he could not, and if it meant that he was a bad dragon for not being able to hide his own form. As he grew up the two came to a consensus: Charilaen discovered that he was okay with his own form, and that he was okay with his bond choosing not to remain draconic most of the time.
Now the two have settled at Nidus Silva for a time. Farwanderer's time spent as a courier in dangerous situations funded not only a number of property purchases on different worlds, but a fairly hefty investment in the various Niduses. Choosing Silva for it's largely dragon-based population (but with a grotto on the ocean island of Nidus Insula for visits) Farwanderer has been intensely enjoying the colonization effort of the various united Nidusi: There are so many creatures from so many worlds all trying to live together at each Nidus that she can hold endless conversations and learn more about worlds ripe for future exploration.

Personality:
| In adulthood, Charilaen is much more level-headed and mellow than he was as a questioning and concerned youth, to the point that he tends to balance out his bond's passionate, sometimes capricious moods. He deals well under pressure, being able to recall difficult spells or maneuver tense diplomatic relations when in the line of fire. Having worked with Farwanderer for many years he has been thrust into dangerous situations time and time again, and he feels that this line of testing has made him a stronger dragon.
He is a quiet creature for the most part, preferring not to provoke anger and disliking those who are flippant or provocative. He loves Farwanderer dearly, but more in sibling way: he is the only one in which she has eventually confided her deepest secrets, and she is the one who helped him through a youth filled with difficult questions about what being a dragon meant in many worlds run by humanoids -- to be confident in himself. Now that the pair live between the various Nidusi, Charilaen spends much of his time as a sentry, for lack of other activities. He likes the idea of protecting a home base, which is something that he was never able to do in their many travels. He knows that eventually Farwanderer will want to move on, but for the mean time he is enjoying a relatively stable point in their lives.
