Tigolith is aggressively independent, and has been since all the way in the shell. He forestalled any attempts at bonding, and has little interest in humans or other small bipeds.
Most of his life he spent living at Star City, and was forced to flee when the station's living conditions collapsed to xenomorph infestation. Escape led him to Nidus Descendi, where he has settled only sullenly into a life that resembles a Pernese Weyr.
The reason that Tigolith doesn't stray away to find his own place is mostly because he seeks revenge. He hates the creatures that forced him from his care-free life. He had to abandon his robot pets when he fled, for example! Now he happily flies patrols with his dragon wing, even if he doesn't get along very well with them on a social level. The other reason he stays, and this reason is sadly minor, is that he has a son by the name of Dorath living at the Nidus. Tigolith is intensely proud of the younger dragon, though he's distant about it.
