Telrad wears pretty simple clothing, though as he comes from a tropical location this tends to be loose, airy clothing made of light linens.

Telrad fancies himself a hero. He's grown up in a relatively sheltered part of his home island where Nex Necium were uncommon, so the dream of becoming a Knight and soaring through the sky, raining acid death down upon insect invaders, is really appealing to him. Anyways, he isn't completely tone deaf when people complain about his grousing or his haggling or his strong-arming; he figures it's all for the purpose of becoming the best Knight that ever was.

Since mind-pairing with Belynri, Telrad has had his strong-arming, overpowering ways tempered pretty dramatically. His partner will sit down (sometimes on him) to stop him from trying to get his way. Belynri even knows how to dangle 'no flying today' warnings if Telrad becomes too much trouble. In this sense, Telrad feels stifled from his progress... but he is coming around to see that being a little more patient and making a few more plans can be beneficial to his desire to strike out and save the day. There will probably always be a little bit of tension between the two. Opposites may attract, and they will be a very strong pair upon graduation, but they will also be quite fierce when they do clash with one another.

Belynri is patient with others, too. He watches and learns an awful lot without imposing himself on others, which often makes him seem to fade into the background, despite his unusually fluffy countenance. Like a boulder that everyone passes every day to get to and from a place, Belynri has become a fixture at the Castle.

One thing that he does enjoy is the attention which others give him in exchange for shaving down his voluminous fur. Living in a tropical climate, he needs constant trims, and his fur has become a local favourite. Grey and black go with many other things, so many others besides Telrad can be found wearing a Belynri-sourced vest, cap, or braided belt.
