She has long, pale hair that is going to white, especially around her temples, which she usually keeps braided all the way down to her waist. Her skin a deep olive colour, and her eyes are brown. She has a handsome face, with a flat nose and pale lips. Her crows-feet and the wrinkles around her mouth suggest that she smiles more often than she frowns.

Maohli likes to wear flowing clothing in greens and blues and yellows, but she also possesses rider gear that's been dyed in emerald colours to match her larger bond. Maohli's taste in fashion leans towards chunky jewelry, big hunks of greenish black jasper framed in silver around her fingers and neck whenever she's not required to be in the saddle.

Because of this focus, Maohli has not spent as much time with unbonded humans as she might have liked. Her own son, Maika, is more of a distant relative to her than a child, for she had him fostered even before she moved to Nidus Descendi. She isn't interested in taking a forever-husband or partner, instead having given her romantic relationships over to the whims of dragon flight. It's enough to keep her going even as an older woman (or perhaps especially as an older woman) so that she can remain focused on her dragons and her career.

He's a natural fighter, having long practice with graceful flight that he's honed primarily to woo females... but which translates very well to providing flashy distractions. His fiery breath usually contains sparks of green and purple, which he uses to further advantage. Jasperth is well-seasoned by this point, and he tends to be less abrupt than when he was younger, but he is still quite active in the community when it comes to any critical missions used to lure away dangerous foes. Only during these moments does he allow his precious bond to remain behind with Emeraldth; the rest of the time, he won't even let Maohli sit on her shoulders without complaint.
