Extended Lifespan

Although he ages as a human does, his elven blood gives Vanien an expected lifespan of about 180 years.

Though identical in appearance, the true twins of the Zubik-Longstar triplets are merely similar in personality. They are both fine young gentlemen, being extremely well mannered and unfailingly polite to all people. Even people they dislike are treated with respect, though that doesn't mean they aren't thinking nasty thoughts (which they will only share with each other, for these boys never gossip otherwise). Unselfish and disinterested in material possessions, they graciously turn down things they don't need and will freely give charity to someone in true need of it.

Vanien, however, is a little more of a recluse than Falthan is. He's not antisocial, but he likes personal one-on-one (or two) encounters with his friends, at the holo-movies or the bookshop (and hey, can he pay for your coffee?). He's book-wise where Falthan is street-wise, intelligent but with less practical knowledge than Falthan has. In addition, though both boys are honest and never lie, Vanien refuses to even try and avoid having to tell the truth, where Falthan will circumvent the truth as long as he can if he feels he needs to. Despite their differences, though, the two are best of friends, and each is always ready to cover the other's back.
