Deirotaci is a rather serious dragon. He's not completely no-nonsense, but don't expect him to go cavorting around with the same kind of glee his half-brother Maeritaan will! His sense of humor tends towards wit and cleverness, and he is as much an avid book-learner as Vanien is. He can go through a book a day if left alone long enough, and is forever looking for new avenues of knowledge to explore. Deirotaci manages not to come across as geeky in his pursuit of information, however. Instead he has about him the air of a learned, respectful scholar, who'll scowl at you if he finds you making too much noise in the library, but is really quite good-natured despite his apparent stoicalness.
