Ralaera's kind live approximately 750 years. They are considered young adults at age 50, and not considered independent until at least their first century.

Reverie

Elves do not sleep, but enter a trance in which they can become fully rested while remaining fully aware of their surroundings. Four hours of reverie are equivalent to a human's eight hours of sleep.

Stubborn, straightforward, and not afraid to speak her mind even when it may mean starting a fight, Ralaera is one who has taken the loss of their Star City home with an almost personal affront. She is equally as angry with the people she thinks "failed" to defend them as she is as at the xenodragons themselves! Of course, she's not so ungrateful as to snub their new Nidus or the people who made it possible. She's angry, not stupid.

Although she is her brother's opposite in many ways, the two are closely bonded. They share many of the same routines in their training to become proper riders for the Nidus, but even when they don't, they're happy to meet up again afterwards and share some downtime together.
