Oturoula doesn't wholly agree with Beliss's assessment of the world, but as he grows and develops a mind enough to make his own assessment of it in turn, he won't wholly disagree with his bonded, either. There's just enough truth in Beliss's suspicions to make them valid, but also enough wrong to make them worth challenging. Oturoula is willing to do that, but carefully, aware that there's a balancing act in proving the points he wants to without reinforcing the ones he doesn't. Beliss's wariness of the world holds them both back from experiencing it to the fullest, and Oturoula won't be ashamed to admit that doing that is absolutely his goal for the both of them.
