Distinguished from his fellow Shy-clone Xiao Shy by his own honorific of "Lao", which dignifies him as someone of venerable respect (though opinions may vary), Lao Shy is a walking font of proverb and wisdom. Whether his advice of the moment has any practicality or is even applicable to the current situation, however, is up for debate. Some would say that Lao Shy spouts nonsense, more senility than wise, while he himself would counter that they simply do not have the perspective to appreciate the wisdom he offers.

It may even be an act in part, for after all Lao Shy was made in the image of and by the infamous Shy himself, and why would Shy make anything of himself that was not meant to be perfect? No, there were no flaws in Lao Shy's creation. He is exactly and everything he is meant to be -- but still perfectly capable of excelling further.
