One of two "chibi Shys" within the Apoleoth's Court, Xiao Shy is distinguished from his counterpart Lao Shy by the Chinese honorific for "little" -- which, yes, he picked himself, because of how appropriately cute (his words!) it is. And, where Lao Shy is considered odd but easily tolerable, Xiao Shy on the whole is considered significantly more... strange than his elderly counterpart. He has a kind of purr to his speech that, though meant to be sultry, is equally likely to creep out those he speaks to. Xiao Shy is, apparently, cut closer to the same cloth as his father-creator.

Appropriate to the sin that is his basis, Xiao Shy is never found without a cup of tea or a dainty bit of cake in one hand, but his manners are impeccable and he never drops a crumb or spills a drop. That being said, the kitchens are rarely the place that he's found. He much prefers the labs, which he peruses the same way some people enjoy wandering through museums or art galleries. There is a very intelligent mind behind those diminuative features, and he's perfectly capable of putting it to use. He simply hasn't volunteered it yet, nor has anyone asked for his assistance.
