Alcandeo is just a goof. He delights in being silly and is the Destiny's local jester, striving to outdo all the others who also call the ship home and enjoy playing a joke or two. He's also very attached to Callidei, though it's in a brotherly or cousinly sense rather than anything like a crush. He's quite aware of her bond's devotion to her, but recklessly enjoys seeing how far he can push Battleworn Claw before the wolfdragon takes a snap at him!

He was named for his coloration, but truth be told, Alcandeo brings light to his surroundings in more than just the literal sense. He loves attention, sure, and he loves making other people smile just as much, and as it happens, being silly is a pretty direct and efficient way of doing so. Unforunately, he finds himself at a loss when he encounters those people who don't appreciate his sense of humor, or who just don't have one of their own at all.
