Body-Heat Control

The ability to control one's body temperature, to keep warm, cool off, or even create one's own thermal for flight.

Psionics

The ability to use mental-based powers such as telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation. All asandae have latent psionics but not all practice the skills. Mages tend to cultivate their psionics as they help with more complex manipulations of functional magic.

Shapeshifting (Asandus-Human Spectrum)

The ability to shapeshift to any form between human and Asandus shapes, the former tending to retain the coloration of the latter.

Verbal Speech

The ability to communicate in spoken words.

Callidei is a bundle of curiosity who loves to get into everything and -- if she can -- tear it apart to see how it works. She's an inventor in the making, taking a piece of this and a sprocket from that and sticking them back together to try and make something new. As a child, all she made was a mess, but as she's aged she's shown some propensity towards someday producing something worthy of a patent.

Bright-hearted and cheerful, Callidei only aims to please. She hates to let people down and strives to do the very best at everything she's given to do. She takes her apprenticeship to Dr. Schroeder very seriously, even if outwardly she's bouncing with glee towards her duties. She idolizes the man and has practically since her birth, feeling far closer to him than any of her true blood relations, many of whom she still has contact with. Only her bond, Cyris (that's Battleworn Claw to you!), holds a higher place in her heart than the doctor.

Despite the closeness of their relationship and her dedication to him, however, Callidei does not consider Claw to be her mate, nor does he think so of her. She has plans to one day use their genetics in a biosynth to which he has willingly agreed (what better to practice with than herself?), but they remain tightly platonic partners and not a romantic connection.

Comitero isn't the first of Callidei's siblings to have children, but his have certainly earned her attention in unique fashion! You can't blame an Imperial Court dragon just for existing, of course, but Dr. Schroeder has made no secret of his distaste for the Imperials' "custom-made" origins. Callidei is, of course, perfectly interested in her future nieces and nephews simply by virtue of being their aunt, but it would be a lie to say that she's not also interested from a scientific standpoint. She wants to take a sponsorling under her wings from love and learning!
