Hi Yakima! I noticed you had some risers looking for chasers so I've been going through my various bronzey boys! I came across a spellweaver in my unpaged folder (at least by the info I have saved with him) but the info in the Wiki is different sounding from the image I have, here:
(No feathery bits!)
Can you let me know what species the image above should be?
Im not sure how I want to do genetics for them yet. I would like to get something universal between my Anarendor species so we will see. I will try to find my old document for that code, tho
Genetic Code
Color Base
R: red & r: blue
RR is for a resiliant red coppe
Rr becomes a dull form of copper.
rr is for a blue silver
Dilution Genes
Y - yellow dilution, adds more of a yellow or golden hue to the given gene. y also give color but not a lot, the pigment give a suttle change.
RY becomes a redish gold; Ry becomes an orange copper
Yr becomes a greenish bronze shade; ry becomes a greenish silver
YY and Yy are normal gold; yy is pale golden yellow
G - green dilution, adds a more greenish tinge to the color. g gives a less noticable change in pigmentation.
RG becomes bronze, Rg is still copper
Gr becomes a greenish silver; rg becomes silver
YG becomes bronze, Yg becomes a varnished gold, yg a very pale bronze
GG and gg are fatal and the dragonet will die before hatching, or shortly after hatching. Gg is the only one that has a 50/50 chance of making it to adult hood.
H is a hue gene that can only affect R or r which dilutes them the same way y is a weak form of Y.
H - no effect on the genes, they remain the same original hue.
h - lightens R to a pale red and r to a pale blue. This can cause pale silver, pale copper and pale brass.
B - Black gene, which acts on all colors. B is black and b is white and are co-dominate.
BB is for black, which darkens the color of the hide to near black
bb is for white, which lightens the color of the hide to near white
Bb is nuteral and has no effect.
BB and bb are considered fatal - the fetus dies before it hatches, resulting in a dud egg.
You can never get a true black or white with the Weavers, but you can get very close.
Eye Color
Eyes are either gold or silver and depend on the base color or the dilute gene colors (if they are the only ones present).
R and Y/y have gold eyes
r and G/g have silver eyes.
If you get RG, YG, the eyes become a bronze color.
If you have Rg, use strongest pigment. gy and ry have blue eyes.
Other colorations are typical, XY/XX for gender, SS, Ss, and ss for size (large, average, small). MM, Mm, and mm for amount of magic (high, medium, low).

I have Timekeeper up here, by the way! http://www.nexusofdragons.com/dray/Adop ... keeper.htm It looks like he came from a proper clutch at the time, though I didn't see their sibs in the database so I added that clutch request to the tab for later. Turns out I don't know if he's Gold flying material, but I still have plans for him eventually. *fingertaps!*
PS: Whenever you wind up making a new genetic code, I'm happy to translate it over. It's just nice to get things paged that have been sitting for a good long time.
