Yes, I actually wrote something. But it's... long. 1700 words or so, not counting the background/stats section. And I'm not sure that it's very good, since I was up till 2 in the morning last night finishing it up, so I'm hesitant about putting it up for you guys to possibly tear into little bits and eat. <.<

The girl's mute, and has had a rather miserable life up to the point of the story, but I swear I had the idea for her -before- I read that awful awful not-at-all-really-pern book. And she has a very loud 'voice', sort of the reverse of a girl who hears dragons--the dragons can hear her, and she gives them a headache when she's mad. So not a complete mary sue I would hope...but still, far from the best story out there. XP

so if someone actually needs a pernie girl, I will send her, just 'cause I don't want her to just go to waste.

I will warn you, though, that I wrote the whole thing in one sitting with no references (my brother has my DLG and won't give it back), and I think only three of the characters and none of the locations have names. Er, and I don't think I ever said what color the one dragon was, but that was intentional...
