XDDD Oh dear, perhaps try softening out the jaw line a little? That could be what's giving it the horking look as opposed to the yawning look. ^_^ Otherwise, I really like it! The adult templates are just to die for! I love the pose and everything! :DDD I can't wait to see them coloured!

Redone the template for Sateino Selamputo x Enadula'Taykah. This one look smuch better I think:

So, a question as I get to the shading and colouring stage: you said Sateino's offspring would have Danachian colours... well... what ARE the Danachian colours? I can't seem to find a record online anywhere...

Ooh, yes, I have to agree! Very pretty! Mind, Sateino's got some Hathian (green, blue, red, yellow, white and silver, and those come with certain breath weapons!) and Aven-Fire, which is pretty much just reddish tones with firey colours on the wings that we all know about... I cannae remember what your side has to add, though I'm sure there's quite the variety!

Hey, I just realized that there's Selamputo's and Taykah's breeding together! Who shall win the name game?

(And yeah, I know about the shading thing. Most times I'm never completely satisfied, but give up due to impatience to be finished!)

Well, the mother, Enadula, is a Tavaryn/Old World/SCD/Drak Mutt...

So the list of possible colours includes:
Green
Blue
Copper
Purple
Lavender
Black
Silver
Starry
Red
Yellow
White
Fiery-ness
Gold
Bronze
Brown
Day - White & Gold
Desert - Tan
Earth - Brown & White
Fire - Red & Gold
Forest - Green & Brown
Mud - Brown
Night - Black & Gold
Ore - Silver & Gold
Plant - Green
Rain - Gray
Water - Blue & Green
Wind - Blue & White

And if that wasn't enough colour variety, the Tavaryn info at Treval City says 'Any' for the colour...

I think I just got variety-d to death...

Maybe the babies should have a hyphenated last name? Taykah-Selamputo has a nice ring to it...

And after five hours work, I finally get some shading I like... actually, I had an accident on the wings that ended up looking nice, so I kept it...

Well, with Danachian, Old World and Hathian the greens and blues are certainly more common then others... Fire should be fairly common since that's the only shade that that section of genes is likely to give...

The SCD part of the mutt-ness would be /only/ brass, green, or combinations of the two, but I guess the rest are whatever you like! X3 I think... you could probably ask for suggestions if you wanted a clutch that was more popular, or just run it by rolling dice? ^^; Either way, that's a lot of options!

It is a lot of options... I think I'll just colour whatever looks pretty, allowing for all the variety of colours from various genes... The one I'm colouring as I type is a mixture of Silver and Day which looks quite nice...

Not quite sure how many I'll colour... depends when I run out of ideas, I guess, although probably won't be more than 10-15 tops. Most likely less.

I know that the size difference probably wouldn't allow for a normal mating, so I would say that it was some sort of genetic fusion-type thing.

Does anyone know how to make those edges less sharp? I tried to and didn't find any really efficient way to do it.

Use a 2-pixel wide line, and a slightly larger canvas? So cute, the transparency on the wing is very nice.

:O I don't know how to name Geperna's! I think the last four letters are a mix of the parents', but I don't remember which ones, and then the middle three letters are the same between all siblings... and then maybe the first couple change depending on dragon?

Geperna names:

Bond's first two letters (so they will require bonding, unless they take their sponsor's name)+3-letter clutch-sound ' mother's first 2 letters+father's 2

If a person, say Istvan, were to bond one of these his would have the name
Is(3-letters)'Neou.

By looking at the records for Shivran Aerd's Geperna clutches, I think their names will end with 'Neou. I'm not sure about the first bit, though.

So the key would be to find a nice 3-letter combination to use, so that it could stand on its own without a bond? I don't know if the non-old-blood colors (which the geperna parent is) have their own naming conventions but I think they would follow this process.
