About the Breed Loft |
| Welcome! These local breed lofts are scattered about the Winged Cat hub, and cats are kept mostly free range to help keep the pests down. These cats are a collection divided by the breeds that Dray is aiming towards, as well as the 'extras' that are awaiting homes with Dray's Nexus characters.

Butterball Loft |
| Butterball Breed: This breed of winged cat is on the small side -- generally pigeon-sized -- is chubby in shape, and is good natured in personality. Their official coat colour is 'Brown Dilute Golden Classic Tabby.' |

Base Requirements
Coarse Brown is the only colour base allowed, and classic tabby is the only body pattern allowed. Wings may display any patterns.
Dilution is an important aspect of the butterball, but a middling dilution is better than extreme dilution.
Golden Tabby is a useful trait, though this can also be created through other combinations of genes.

The order for each roost shows cats that carry the most Butterball genes at the top (as well as the best showing of the Roost's specific gene). Gazzi Modena Loft |
| Gazzi Modena Breed: This breed is meant to replicate its pure pigeon relative of the same name, "Gazzi Modena". A typical cat will be small and cobby in conformation, with a good nature. It's an excellent breed for beginning breeders. The pinnacle of the Gazzi Modena within the Winged Cat community is the white-bodied cat, though full-colour siblings are considered an acceptable, if minor fault of the breed.
The final conformation of the Gazzi Modena can be bred by focusing on different sets of genes, but the ofifically recognized variety are called "Blue Kite Bronze Gazzi Spread Velvet Checkers". |

Base Requirements
Black or Blue base colours are required to darken and make the patterns more rich. Spread and Velvet Checker help to enhance this effect.
Kite bronze is required to turn the wing shells bronze (displayed over the checker and spread), while the Gazzi gene turns the rest of the cat white.
