Tegwyn grew up at Nidus Descendi and was cared for deeply not only by her mother, but by those who had built the Lower Caverns as well. Coming from Pern at such a young age, she didn't have much memory of her earliest year as a Weyrbrat baby, but she knows from her mother's stories that she's had it much better here than she would have at Igen.

She plays it up, working hard to become teacher's pet and befriending older peers, who often treat her like a younger sister or a doll. Tegwyn loves it, she loves attention and she loves to be cared for. She finds it interesting to hang out with older kids, and she finds those who used to live on Star City Station exotic and fascinating and a little intimidating.

Tegwyn's not all about shallow looks. She has a deep streak of interest in literature and poetry specifically. She doesn't have a lot of time to pursue these interests, given that Nidus Descendi is still considered a frontier Nidus, where the basics of life and survival often take precedence. Still, she brings light to those who appreciate the finer things in life, and she's a good mix of game for what real life throws at her, whilst remaining optimistic for a more beautiful tomorrow.
