Appearance:	Ranutra has dark brown skin and a mop of warm, almost reddish brown hair that curls wildly unless she pulls it all back into an equally poofy ponytail. Her eyes are a hazel green colour, though dark enough to appear brown unless in bright light. Ranutra's build is relatively squat and well-muscled, and she wears simple clothing along with a sturdy belt through which, even at her age, she likes to keep a few tools.
Personality:	Ranutra was born on Star City space station, but not long before evacuation orders were given. All she remembers is her life at Nidus Descendi: her foster parents and the Lower Caverns, her many friends, and the scary stories they told about the floating city in the night sky that was overtaken by monsters and "bad guys". She's not interested in her past. Instead, she loves exploring the caves with her friends and bringing interesting things to her aunties and uncles. Her parents are specialists for the Nidus' sanitation, and explorers of the mountain's deep and vast cave systems besides, so Ranutra hears much about the deeper systems of the Nidus that she can pass on to others. She dreams of underground pools of glittering, heated water and massive amber growths glowing ever so softly... and rather than be scared of such alien visions, they often leave her feeling rested. Ranutra enjoys exploring beyond the rocky edges of the Lower Caverns, too. She likes to split her shifts between helping garden and weed and even tend to the shaggy cattle herd the Nidus keeps, and doing her "deep" delves with the other kids. Real sunlight soothes her in the same way the dreams of the amber caves do. Ranutra has no idea what to do with the rest of her life. She was swept up with a bunch of other kids to attend a strange Weyr's hatching, and it was the most exciting thing to have happened to her. More exciting still, she bonded a dragon. She hadn't planned on bonding a dragon, and when she agreed to go, she hadn't really thought it through. Now she and Himarith are tied at the hip. It's exciting, but also a little scary. Ranutra is still reeling from the emotions of a dragon in her mind who knows her deep, dark secrets. And, strangely enough, it's as though her amber hide was born to broadcast that to the rest of the world.

Abilities:	Telepathy. This dragon can speak mind-to-mind.
	Assisted Firebreath. This dragon can breath fire after chewing firestone or certain grades of coal.
	Teleportation. This dragon can teleport between two locations instantly so long as it has a clear mental image of its destination.
	Telekinesis. This dragon can move objects with their mind.
Personality:	When she was hatched, Himarith was drawn inexorably to a sense of warmth and bright, huge amber boulders. That brought her straight to Ranutra, who took one look at her and fell to the sands, weeping. Since then, the pair have been nigh inseperable, to the point that it's been a little cumbersome. As a hatchling, Ranutra practically carried Himarith everywhere, and as she grew, this dynamic slowly changed to Himarith carrying Ranutra. That isn't to say that they're adept weyrlings (or paros, in Nidus terms) or quick studies. Ranutra is constantly daydreaming of returning to the deep caverns, and Himarith is curious as all get-out to join her. They occasionally sneak off together, but it's hard to be stealthy when one is a starburst of bright yellow twinkling light.

X^GWdF\|X^gWdF	This ungodly combo helps determine if the dragon is Gold, Bronze, Brown, Blue or Green. X^G\|X^g = "X" paired is "female". "G" paired with "g" can be either Green or Gold, and the "R" allele determines which manifests. Only in combination of G\|g and R\|r are Golds possible. W\|W = Is the dragon a sport-size? Not with this combo. Requires w\|w and d\|d together to be sport sized for females and wd for males. d\|d = Is the dragon a sport-size? The "d\|d" pairing would allow it, but paired with "W\|W" the sport size is dormant. F\|F = Is the dragon fertile? Yes, even if she chews firestone.

c^xG\|c^R	Colour blending gene. "c" allows any colour change gene to show through. "c^x" causes a swap from the base colour. In this case, the "cxG" causes the dragon to become one of Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond, Ruby, Amethyst, Topaz, Aquamarine, Opal, Peridot, Garnet, Pearl, Turquoise, Amber, Jade or Mystic Fire Topaz.
T^R\|T	"T" determines if the wing sails are a different colour. Upper-case "T" genes mask any colour swaps that might occur on wing sails.
Ee\|Ee	Saturation gene that currently allows average saturation. If double "EE" or "ee" appear, these can cause the dragon to be hyper-saturated, or more greyish.
i\|i	An intensity gene that indicates that the hide can shift colours from front to back, like Ryslen Nights and Lights.
K\|k	Creates a shift towards darker or night if the "i" gene allows for a colour shift. Generally, K and K+ cause darker shifts.
P\|p	Creates a shift towards paler or light if the "i" gene allows for a colour shift. Generally, P and P+ cause lighter shifts.
O^Ss'-R\|o1^ss-R	O\|o1 = "O" masks any other speckle genes regardless of what the other allele is. "o1" allows light amounts of speckles to show. Ss'R\|ssR = These determine augmentation to the kind of speckles that are present. More "S" determine chonkier speckles, while more "s" determine smaller speckles. "s'" changes spots to ticking. The "R" calls out that speckles would be Silver, Copper, Cream, Black or White if they were expressed.
a^t4BR\|a^t4R	Agouti gene! If two agouti genes appear they are codominant. a^t4B: the "a" stands for agouti, while the "t" suggests a striped pattern. The "4" suggests intensity of the pattern, where lower numbers are lighter striping, and higher are heavier. (seems like 1-4, so this would be heaviest striping.) The possible colours the striping would be are Gold, Bronze, Brown, Blue or Green. a^t4R allows another pattern through also stripes, the "4" suggests heavy striping. The possible colours of the stripes are Silver, Copper, Cream, Black or White. Overall, this dragon is Amber with Gold and Yellow Stripes-- the stripes of which have been colloquially termed "sunburst".
U^R\|u^R	Clouded gene. "U" stands for "not clouded", though in this case the "R" hanging off of the upper-case U means that there's a small chance that Silver, Copper, Cream, Black or White could show through. The "u^R" stands for the ability for clouding to express, also being chosen from Silver, Copper, Cream, Black or White.
H\|h	Shimmer gene. Both "H" and "h" stands for "not shimmery".
M\|m	Represents the possibility of having twins. The "M" gene masks any genes that would produce in-shell twins. The "m" gene doesn't give twins itself, but allows other recessive genes to express.
