Unfortunately, things for the trio are less sure than ever. Despite being named an Arx and being populated by other hydra-like beasts, the leaders are even more asinine than Lord Bekirol. For example, Olenthler has taken a demotion from her natural-born rank of twenty-one to eleven, putting her squarely as a soldier instead as a more noble majestic. It's soured Olenthler to her escape tremendously, and so she refuses to do any solid work for the new Arx, and actively makes herself a nuisance when pestered.

Olenthler kept the two in line, but Jytheren kind of enjoyed it. He still does, though it's less fun now that Olenthler has received such a demotion. Nowadays, Jytheren and Dotai actually spend more time around their new digs, having escaped Arx Atra Mons long before the mountain blew. They aren't part of any armed invasion, but they do like to sneak out of Arx Infusco's territory to steal from nearby settlements and scare the settlers, even if they rarely do more than property damage and the occasional cattle rustling. Dotai is impossible to carry when she's digesting anything bigger than a human child, so Jytheren keeps her in line when she gets any funny ideas.

Since moving the Arx Infusco, their combined downgrade in rank has put them on a more even footing with most other creatures, at least when Dotai is riding Jytheren's back. She likes to say that the two of them are Olenthler's smaller twin, and some fools believe it, so she has diverted some of her more murderous urges to tricking and conning others whenever she can get a chance.
