Kadli is a husky man with heavy muscles and very little body fat. He has short-shorn, curly black hair and a warm brown complexion. Though he can grow facial hair, he often shaves it, even though people call his wide-face young or even babyish. Because he has very few reservations about his self-worth, he doesn't care a single jot for anyone's teasing. Sometimes he even laughs along.
Having grown up in the extremely humid and windy port town of Kaito, Kadli likes to wear layers and, though he sometimes finds darker colours suffocating when it's especially hot out, usually he wears these in more formal settings because he likes the rusty reds and blacks of his home town's quarried rock. He keeps his appearance neat whenever he's able, though when he is working he will strip down to the waist and get his hands and arms dirty without a second thought.

Kadli comes from a line of stoneworkers hailing from Kaito over many generations. He's deeply steeped in the physical labour of maintaining the paved roads and had been trying his hand at more sculptural work before he was Searched, finding the arts a tempting subject that made a good conduit between his reverence for nature and the humble work of dusty hands.
He's a friendly sort, and not always the brightest (for example, he has very little business sense to speak of!) which makes life at Timara pleasant for him, given the highly cooperative nature of the new establishment. Because Kadli is skilled with stoneworks, he and his family have been consulted on building the Castle's walls and main structures, marrying the experience of Lavelefa's native understanding of the land with High Princess Ocusa's celestial cleverness to create a unique holding. Kadli is grateful to be a part of that set-up: stories of Knights from across Icarus have been in the folklore of his home for as long as anyone can remember, and even if he doesn't become one, himself, he's glad to be working with such fantastic creatures as draks!
