Achekudid's hide is a pale grey, marked heavily with dark grey patches along his back and flanks, with some cream and brown flecks along both, in a kind of stone-like matrix of darker striations. His suit is a slightly darker than his body, an off-grey with pads under his feet and tail-pad, and articulated fingered gloves. He only ever wears his helmet during incidents which require depressurization, but since his build is so different from the rest of his crew, he almost always keeps it close at hand, sometimes settled on his back, sometimes in a nook in their bridge.

This works well, for Achekudid is an exceptionally good first mate. He's not mindlessly violent like some of the crew, and he knows how to discipline a ship full of criminals who could turn on one another at the drop of a hat, were he not to exert regular ministrations of threats and bribes.

The crew is smaller than some other pirate operations, but Achekudid takes pleasure in knowing that they measure far better than the other riffraff. He is a proud creature who, despite his attempts to break his culture's mode, takes great pride in lofting his captain to great fame and fortune.

Achekudid is not completely heartless. His pirate's booty doesn't get hidden (though he makes a habit of being secretive about it!) so much as it gets shadily sent back through various channels to his homeworld. His father is a widower, and unlike Ache', his father doesn't have the gumption to make it out in the world. The funds that he provides allow his father to live comfortably as a butler to a premier estate back home, with as much obfuscation as it takes to keep the implications of dirty money from creating legal troubles.

When he was just hatched, he stumbled upon Achekudid by dint of the Tycharis' attention to detail. Hungry for knowledge, Vorvorke took Achekudid's mind for his bond, and grew quickly as he integrated with his bond's crew. Unlike the captain, who is quick to secure the hides and bones of dragons and beasts across his ship in a sign of power, Achekudid's style of dominance is through careful thinking and an understanding how how less minds work, and Vorvorke feels similarly.

Vorvorke is protective of his crew, which to him lay somewhere between the concept of a brood of children and dangerous pets. He seeks to learn more of humanoids and other little bipeds to better organize those who come aboard, and to expand his hoard of knowledge in general.
