Ability Pool & Glossary
Assisted Breath Weapon (Fire) The ability to breathe out fire after chewing a phosphine-bearing mineral called firestone. Avengaean Functional Magic A wide-ranging ability to wield magic to just about any practical purpose. Though innate, practice is necessary to become truly skilled. Breath Weapon (Acid) The ability to breathe out a spray of corrosive acid. Breath Weapon (Fire) The ability to breathe out a gout of fire. Breath Weapon (Flaming Acid) The ability to breathe out a spray of ignited, corrosive acid. Natural Spellcaster After reaching their first decade in age, they begin to develop magical ability. The older they get, the more powerful they can become. Rapid Regeneration When injured, this creature's wounds immediately begin to close and lost limbs visibly start to regenerate. Even a severed head will regrow within minutes, but one head must remain intact at all times or else they will die. Regeneration The ability to rapidly heal from injury. Reincarnating Immortality Should this creature die from any cause, they will reincarnate (bodily regenerate) into an egg and begin their lifecycle anew. They retain only vague memories of past lives. Ritual Conjuration Magic The use of incantations to enchant objects or people, sometimes by invoking local spirits. See also: zagovory. Shadow Magic The ability to wield magic related to creating and controlling shadows. Teleportation The ability to teleport anywhere within sight or that can be strongly visualized in the mind. Teleportation (Unblockable) The ability to teleport anywhere within sight or that can be strongly visualized in the mind. They are unusually skilled and can teleport through wardings and other barriers that would otherwise keep teleporters at bay. Toxic Blood The possession of blood that is poisonous when ingested and caustic to bare skin.
