Zorralli, young as it was, doesn't remember too terribly much about them, and the Foster system has treated her well enough... still, there is some part of her that never truly believed that her parents had passed away. It might actually be the root of her endlessly explorative, curiously questing attitude. Zorralli has spent all her youth exploring the Nidus' caverns and high hill fields, cataloguing weird bugs and plants and mushrooms. She adores a particular Uncle, F'lian Schist, who retired as a dragonrider some years back and tells the most mournful, wistful tales of being bonded to a free-flying creature who can share your deepest thoughts and take you millions of miles in a heart beat... She's quite confident that, when she bonds a dragon herself, she'll explore the rest of the huge continent that Nidus Descendi is a part of. A diaspora of Star City refugees made their homes in other Niduses, which she's eager to visit.

Now that she and Abioyeth have graduated from training, Zorrali and her bond are eager to explore. They, along with a few other intrepid explorers, are working with the United Nidusi to chart deeper into the continent beyond the vast (and frankly, larger-than-dragon-sized) mountain range against which the furthest easter Niduses abut.
