Elessadian dragon scales repel magic. It is possible to affect them with magic but it is very difficult and requires a lot of power and a lot of luck.

Verbal Speech

The ability to communicate in spoken words.

Despite being a fairly large dragon, at least for his breed if not among Nexus species in general, TreeFall is very shy and defensive around other people. He doesn't know how to make conversation or read people's tone or body language, or anything like that. He's not even comfortable just nodding and making the occasional "listening noise" when faced with someone who can easily carry a conversation all on their own. His bond is the only friend he has, since they understand each other intuitively and hardly have to talk at all -- and when they do, it doesn't feel like work.
