Psionics

The ability to use mental-based powers such as telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation. All asandae have latent psionics but not all practice the skills. Mages tend to cultivate their psionics as they help with more complex manipulations of functional magic.

Shapeshifting (Dragon-Human Spectrum)

The ability to shapeshift to any form between human and dragon shapes, the former tending to retain the coloration of the latter.

The ability to communicate in spoken words.

Lectri is a totem of swagger and curiosity, the sort of dragon who carries himself like an aspiring legend in progress. He is confident and theatrical, always ready to embellish a story if it makes the moment better, with a sharp mind drawn to secrets and the hidden dynamics of every room he enters. Though he likes to try and keep others guessing in turn, his natural enthusiasm often breaks whatever mysterious image he was trying to create. His greatest flaw is that in treating life like a performance, he's also desperately hiding the parts of himself that feel uncertain -- not quite impostor syndrome, but in the same vicinity of such.

In Zalikra, Lectri has met a soul who can match his energy while completely ignoring his attempts to control the spotlight. He is fascinated by how quickly her mind leaps where his has to pry, and she delights in cutting through his carefully crafted mystique without even trying. At times her forgetfulness frustrates his love of being noticed, but by breaking his scripts, he finds himself forced to be more genuine with her instead. It didn't take him long to realize this wasn't all a bad thing: it led to the precious moments where all her abundant love hyper-focused on him and him alone, to reassure him he's not even a fraction as bad as his intrusive thoughts want him to believe.
