Gaentus is composed to the point of being difficult to read, carrying himself with a quiet authority that doesn't need to announce itself. He speaks rarely, but when he does, it's deliberate and precise, capable of redirecting a conversation without raising in volume. He has a strong instinct for understanding people and situations, piecing his observations together without making it obvious he's doing so. He always wants to know exactly where he stands, and what others around him intent. While he isn't needlessly harsh, he can be exacting when pushed, using his words as sharp and precise tools. Beneath it all is a steady ambition driving him to understand everything so thoroughly that nothing can catch him unprepared.

With Stelghe, Gaentus becomes less distant, though not less controlled. Perhaps surprisingly, he doesn't try to restrain her chaos, as he learned very early on that it's neither containable nor something that should be dulled. Instead, he positioned himself as the point she can return to, the constant stability against her constant motion. Where she acts on instinct, he accounts for consequences. Where she leaps, he ensures there's something solid for her to land on. Her unpredictability keeps him engaged, forcing him out of passive observation, while his steadiness gives her freedom to be as reckless as she pleases without everything falling apart by accident. He doesn't chase her energy, but he doesn't withdraw from it either -- he meets it just enough to keep them aligned, forming a balance that few ever would have expected from them.
