Sirius is not a dragon who talks much at all on his own, even when surrounded by lively conversation, and when directly addressed his responses are as simple as possible. Some accuse him of being none too bright and he doesn't contradict people when they do, but in truth, Sirius just doesn't like listening to the sound of his own voice as much as some other folks do.
