Are two heads really better than one? Well... maybe.

Renpell, black-haired and yellow-eyed, takes more after the catdra side of their heritage. If he can get away with it, all he wants to do is laze on the nearest sun-warmed rock and watch Nidus life go by without him. Vimartha on the other hand, red-crested and green-eyed, draws a greater feeling of responsibility from their Old-World heritage. They both went without a bonding urge at their hatching, so they have no rider, but she is territorial of their new home just the same and is set on protecting it. The last thing she wants is to see it lost the same way their first home was.

Thankfully Renpell can agree with her on at least that much. It may be hard to muster him for training that doesn't involve his catlike prey drive, but should their home face an actual threat, he'll bristle and hiss to face it rather than run away.
