Xenodragons are immune to acids.

Xenodragon blood is incredibly acidic, able to rapidly eat through most known organic and inorganic materials.

The ability to produce a hard, glossy resin that can be used as a building material, mostly for hives and cocoons.

The ability to speak mind-to-mind in emotions.

The ability to climb and stick to any surface with ease.

Qess is very powerful and extremely fast, but not so intelligent. Though he can follow orders to the letter and has an uncanny ability to remember what he is told for ungodly long periods of time, even when those instructions are complicated enough to utterly bewilder an ordinary person, the ability to act out of bounds simply does not exist for him. His sense of independence is limited to acting in his queen's benefit but he would never go against even the smallest of Gavin's commands, even if it was an off-hand mention not to do this or that given years ago. Like the bass-beat of his mind, he is ever-present and all-pervading in the hive, but the great violence he is capable of is easily restrained by his queen.
