Telepathic Twin

Hoshi has a telepathic bond with his identical twin, Yahan. No matter what sort of distance or dimensions that separate them, their minds can always reach each other.

"Objective, officious, orderly; trained with civil engineering and masonry, but specializes in 'getting things up to code."

The only thing Hoshi does better than rub people the wrong way is to do it by being a stickler for rules and regulations. He's a young man who thrives in order and organization; rest assured he never had a rebellious teen phase! (Despite very much still being a teen, shh.) He delights in pinpointing problems and hammering them out -- or setting whatever other necessary tool to them that he must.

He can't abide slackers or people who otherwise aren't turning the exact same level of detail onto their work that he is and will absolutely lay into anyone whose work he finds lacking, including people very much his senior in years and experience! It's very much an emotional response, but he always has the arguments ready to back it up, too. He'll quote you the exact article, section, and clause relevant to the problem he's identified. Hoshi gets under a lot of people's skin, but it's hard to deny that he's something of a young engineering genius, and there's plenty of work for him to contribute to around the Nidus's many construction projects.

With a place for everything and everything in its place, Hoshi keeps his own life just as structured. There's very little, if anything, that he does on an impulsive whim.

Born to the vast Erikson clan of Dawnlight Hold (oh the Kshau Protectorate), Hoshi was one of several Eriksons who traveled to Nidus Novalux to participate in the gathering of a "Nexus Candidate Exchange". From there, he came to reside at the newly-settled Nidus Caeligenus. It's significantly more... exotic than the world he's used to, but there's plenty of work to be done, and he's found it much easier to focus on that purpose over the unusual levels of technology and the abundance of nonhuman species and very much not Old-World dragons.
