Always ready to take care of those who need it, and loyal to those she holds dear all the way to the bitter end, Barcheth cares. Really and truly, she does. The problem is: she utterly lacks the temperament to express it properly. She has a short fuse, low tolerance for foolishness, and struggles to display gentleness or kindness when it needs to be. For example, should she catch a child getting themselves into a dangerous situation without being aware of such (as young and foolish children tend to do), she would swoop in to rescue them without hesitation, but simultaneously with verbally berating them for having gotten into such a state. She is incredibly protective, but doesn't know how to give comfort or reassurance.
