Seedling Reproduction

Every few years, the dragon's gemlike scales bloom into flowery structures. If they contract the pollen of another seedling-capable dragon, they could very well become "pregnant", regardless of the dragon's actual gender.

Although very young, Aerea already has the sharp mind expected of Gem Dragons of her coloration, and if there's one thing to be said for certain: she's having none of her father's nonsense. She loves him, to be sure, and accepts his overtures of familial affection and bonding without distress, but she'll also call out his petty behaviors without hesitation. Because she's so young, she comes off as an overly critical teenager to those who don't know better, but she's actually very perceptive and her observations are usually correct. She just doesn't let the fact that he words may hurt stop her.
