Oathsworn Weapon

Bodhi hail from the Alter-Realm, the parallel of Liune's material plane, and as such have access to the flows of magic that humans cannot access on their own. Bodhi that are summoned by warlock-knights bond to the warrior's chosen weapon and open up the means for that warknight to cast spells with the energies their weapon channels to them.

N'serric is an archon, one of the most powerful varieties of Bodhi, who inhabits Jerek's greatsword. Bound to the blade by blood and by oath (his own as well as Jerek's), his powers joined to the warknight's allow them to cast powerful battle-magics. No two Bodhi-blades look alike, adapting both to the essence of the entity within them and the skills of the warknight that wields them, and N'serric has become a greatsword with an angular, bladed-looking crosspiece. He can be recognized as a Bodhi-blade, however, by the blood-red crystal at the end of his pommel and the engraved eyes on each side of his blade. Though they are stylized as carvings or decorations would be, these eyes can blink and look around as if they were flesh.

As for his true form, from before he merged with Jerek's sword, he blithely states that it's a good thing people can only see him as a sword for now, otherwise they would be so overcome with awe that no one around him would be able to get anything done.

Arrogant and sarcastic, N'serric gives the impression of being utterly bored with life, if not downright disdainful of it at times. His mannerisms of speech are slow and drawn, as of someone who has all the time in the world and is in no hurry to make their point, and he enjoys using "intellectual" words to confuse those around him. He is openly scornful of others when they have earned such derision while his praise, far harder to come by, tends to surprise even himself when it's expressed.

He does not mind being bound in a sword, since he did agree to the arrangement and it is only temporary. He does, however, grow bored and short-tempered if Jerek has not put him to use for some time, whether in the focusing of magics or the more traditional use of swords. In turn, he rather seems to get a kick out of frightening those who fear the "demon-blades" of warknights.
