Igor is an extremely simple creature. Quick only in the physical sense, he is stupid but incredibly loyal. The only good thing that can be said about his intelligence is that he never forgets a command he is given. In fact, he can follow the most complex of instructions down to the letter, provided he doesn't have to do any independent thinking along the way. He could, in theory, even do something as intricate as disarm a bomb, as long as someone gave him precise step-by-step directions on how to dismantle that specific type of explosive.
