Rasso is a hard worker by nature and a craftsman by instinct, the sort who takes quiet pride in things that are built well and to last. He can tolerate rough conditions, long hours, and the constant pressure that comes with work where mistakes can cost lives, but cannot tolerate the idea of settling for something he knows could be better. If a beam is crooked or a wall poorly braced, Rasso will notice and he will fix it, whether anyone asked him to or not.

That same mindset carries over towards the people around him. Where Jasmine tends to let social friction drift along unattended, Rasso is often the one stepping in to smooth things over before disagreements start slowing the work. In his view, arguments and grudges can sabotage a settlement just as easily as weak lumber or cheap tools. He may grumble about the distraction, but he understands that if people aren't working together, nothing gets done the way it should.

Ironically, for someone so aware of the damage bad attitudes can cause, Rasso is not immune to them himself. When he thinks others are cutting corners or coasting through their duties, his patience wears thin and his temper follows close behind. Few things sour his mood faster than watching sloppy work undo careful planning -- or discovering that someone's laziness means he's missing the warm meal, fresh coat, or well-earned mug of ale he was counting on after a long day. For all his honesty and dedication, Rasso's standards are as demanding for those around him as they are for himself.
