Jasmine has endured enough storms to know that panic rarely improves the weather. She works with patient focus, approaching every task she takes on with the same steady persistence she addressed the previous ones. Adversity slides off of her the same way water rolls off the rain shell that protects her back, as she rarely complains and never dramatizes her problems. She's someone who keeps her attention fixed on whatever needs doing next, rather than dwell on what went wrong before.

This calm practicality can make her difficult to read, however. Jasmine's emotional responses are so muted that many people assume she doesn't care about whatever may be happening, when in reality she prefers to do instead of feel. Misunderstandings often occur and lead to friction, simply because she doesn't consider social squabbles to be more important than the physical work ahead of her. Left to her own devices, she would leave such things to "work themselves out" without her, but sometimes others have to step in to solve conflicts that Jasmine didn't realize needed proper fixing.

That said, she is far from heartless. She will take over heavy jobs without a word when someone else is struggling, put extra effort into repairs without seeking acknowledgement, and make sure a plate of biscuits is saved for the companion who was slow to return from their own tasks. Her loyalty to others is expressed not in words, but in the burdens she chooses to carry.
