Like Qatty, Umtilaten is of a nature similar to his bond's rather than complimentary. He's a bit of a conceited little bugger, and very outspoken about it. He loves to be the center of attention and doesn't much care to share the spotlight except with Kenjista and Qatty. Anyone else will be bullied off the stage without remorse.

The pseudo-gryph is always blunt and to the point, with none of the elaboration and hyperbole Kenjista and Qatty like to use. Also unlike his bond and bond-sister, he won't lie to get what he wants, but he doesn't mind bending or skirting the truth. He also doesn't mind it when the two ladies get to lying, and though he won't back up their stories, he won't try to spoil their fabrications either.

Umtilaten could care less about Chario and Sentio, and though he's not particularly rude to them, he doesn't pay them a great deal of unnecessary attention, either.
