Personality: |
A selfish creature at her core, Kenjista is a true and irredeemable narcissist. When she wants something, she'll go to just about any extreme to get it. Along the way, she'll gladly bend rules to their limits, try to manipulate others into furthering her goal, and even verge on being scandalous if she thinks she can get away with it. Kenji is completely insubordinate and loves to cause a scene. She's totally self-confident and egocentric, and if you're not her bonds, you're nothing to her, though even they are as subject to her attitude as everyone else. |
Biography: |
Kenjista stands as an example of why letting children make life-altering decisions at the moment of their hatching may not always be the best of ideas. At the ceremony at which she was born, she made a scene by chosing to bond two young Asandae who had, themselves, already chosen their bonds. In retrospect, it is a thing she did for the attention and shock value, though in the long run it was a poor decision that backfired completely. Chario and Sentio had chosen their bonds, but they had not chosen her, nor did she have any interest in the ones they had chosen. She wanted the Asandae for herself. Years down the line, she did two things. First, she stood at a ceremony, herself, and gained the attentions of two young bonds she could call her own. This was not too bad of a thing, though it did crowd their home some with the pair of new arrivals. The much worser thing was when Kenjista attempted to eliminate the 'competition' she found in the form of Chario's Akija and Sentio's Cacopheny. There was a certain Caetran with a vested interest in getting hold of the two, for different reasons, and Kenjista thought that assisting this endeavor might finally secure Chario and Sentio for herself and no other. Short-sighed and ill-planned, in the aftermath of her machinations being discovered and foiled, Kenjista was rejected, bonds broken, and kicked out. Narciscists are hard to teach otherwise, but while Kenjista still manages to blame the Asandae for everythign that went wrong rather than herself, she causes much less trouble now that she is "free" of the group and has a pair of bonds she does not have to share. |
