The Watcher clan of daemons is a motley one, all six-limbed Seeders somewhere between feline and dragon. Aki leans towards wiry feline features, touched off with short horns, a spade-tipped tail, and a striking color scheme. Her fur is velvet-short, all crimson but for the black of her hands, feet, and ears. Her other markings are three jagged, black stripes across each upper arm, four at the small of her back, and seven on the outside of each thigh, from waist to knee. There is also a white, diamond-shaped blaze on her chest that stretches from her pectorals to halfway up her throat. Her hair is a slightly darker red than her base fur color, short and scruffy but for the thin braid she grows in front of her right ear and decorates with a single white bead. Her narrow eyes are yellow-gold, reflective in dim light and darkness.

She's a short daemon, her proportions rather like a human youth's despite her age and extremely tall parents. The Watchers are a breed more alike to birds or reptiles than mammals, so she has no external features to make her gender apparent even when unclothed. Her third pair of limbs present themselves in the form of black-leathered wings, although they are vestigial and too small to even glide with -- her wingspan is only slightly wider than her armspan.

Her attire is generally form-fitting clothing just loose enough to be comfortable, shaded in browns, greys, and black. She often goes shirtless in warmer weather.

As vibrant in personality as she is in coloring, Aki is prone to being loud and feisty, very much an Aries-type personality. She's always full of energy and ready to go out and do something, as well as bold to the occasional point of recklessness. When she's caught up in the swing of things, she usually acts on impulse and doesn't think about the consequences of her action until it's too late to do so. Proud and confident, she often seems to be all but fearless -- she just acts too quickly for her own thoughts to catch up and realize she should be more cautious!

Akija is very outgoing, more than willing to strike up conversations with friendly-looking strangers -- and even unfriendly ones, sometimes! Due to her discontent with Asandus prejudices against daemons, she in turn is accepting of all types and would give anyone a chance to prove themselves before letting preconceived notions of species cloud her judgment. Once someone is marked as a foe in her eyes, however, her infamous temper runs the risk of rising to the fore. When Akija is angry, her anger tends to be the only emotion she's aware of, clouding her judgment unless cautioned by another -- her bond's job, usually. She's also been known to cling to a rage rather than deal with less palatable emotions like fear or worry.

Nevertheless, Akija is far more cheerful and playful than anything else. Though her bond has learned a lot from her, not even Chario can keep up with her somedays, making her the most mischievous soul in their household. Even so, after the tumultuous events that followed Cacopheny's crossing into her life, changing it irrevocably, she can be surprisingly mature and mellow when it's required of her. Having to be gravely serious, however, makes her feel awkward and uncomfortable, and she will try to get back to being silly as soon as possible.

One of the few things about Akija that is never in jest is her determination to look after and protect those who are dearest to her. After mistakes were made that she never wants to repeat, there is no length she would not go to in order to keep her family safe, and she would not hesitate to throw herself in harm's way if that's what it would take.
