Jewelwing Magic

All jewelwing creatures are incredibly powerful in their magic, and even the weakest of them is a match for ANY human wizard. There seems to be no limit to what their magic can do, though it is rarely used maliciously.

As a dragonfly grub, little Twig only had two major desires in life: to have something good to eat, and to have a comfortable place to sleep after she'd eaten. She was undeniably lazy, and took to J'fan so easily simply because it would've been too much effort to protest. Twig was about as active as a stone and had just as much personality, but despite being so boring, J'fan still liked her. As a chrysalis, it was hard to say Twig had much of a personality at all! She just... hung there...

But now, as an adult, the now-called Amberwind is fully developed in all regards. She is still quiet and languid, but it is out of a leisurely and unhurried nature rather than pure sloth. Amberwind is regal in all ways, with the bearing of a queen and all the pride as a creature as beautiful as herself should have, with, thankfully, very little corresponding conceit. She also has very maternal tendencies, and Ineju has taken to calling her J'fan's "portable mother."
