The ability to wield magic related to creating and controlling fire.

Shapeshifting (Parental)

The ability to shapeshift into two other forms: one physically resembling each parent species.

Telepathy (Limited)

The ability to communicate mind-to-mind, but only in pictures and emotions.

Ibethtae is as quiet as his father, though it's because he can't speak -- or at least not well -- rather than out of any desire to be enigmatic. His telepathy is as vague as a firelizard's, only able to send emotions, loose concepts, and occasionally pictures. For some reason, words are entirely beyond him. Seeing as how an amazingly intelligent mind is his to claim, he is often very frustrated and has a short temper more often than not as a result of this. Though he has nimble fingers, he just can't quite get the knack of writing, and the datapad he carries around his neck is used to write only short phrases or a choice word or two. If there's ever something complicated he needs to communicate, he has to find one of the dragon-sized computers that the Alveary has in abundance. As a side note, his words-per-minute count is fantastic!
